Below average book on attachment theory and codependency

This book isn't horrible, but it's close. The first book of three is about attachment theory. It's ok at best. All the other books I've read on attachment theory are better. The 2nd book is horrible. It's as if he got burned out writing and was just trying to write enough to meet the minimum number of pages needed to have a publishable book. The third book on codependency wasn't horrible. But there's books about codependency that are so much better than this.
