BARNAGEDDON! The Flood: A Tale of Hooves, Heartbreak and Havoc

In BARN-AGEDDON The Flood, the red book, and first in a series of seven, the animals at Peaceful Haven led by Emma Mouse take on a corrupt mayor building a tollway through their farm. The Beaver dams up the creek to force them off.

Meanwhile, Emma's daughter, Maisy Mouse, has fallen in love with a drifter mouse named Matty. Emma objects to the relationship. Reporters, Suzie Adams and boss, Remington Royal, investigate the Beaver and his corrupt activities.

As the creek runs dry, the animals battle with beaver workers over the dam. German Shepherd dog, Rex, and Matty Mouse go on a spy mission as the dam bursts, flooding the farm. House guest, the Bear, saves the animals' barn.

These crises occur against the background of the love affair between Maisy and Matty that leads to marriage. Maisy's mother, Emma, can barely tolerate Matty and remains unconvinced about her new son-in-law, despite his heroics.

Meanwhile, Bob Clydesdale is dating the champion race horse, Grace Filly, who is precious, to say the least, and Sam Clydesdale has left the famous singing horse quartet, The Clydesdales, vowing not to return until Hell freezes over

This story also touches upon issues relating to the rights, feelings and maybe even the expectations of animals working and surviving in a world of humans where their welfare can be overlooked.
