On September 19, 1970, a 75-year-old woman was brutally raped and murdered inside of her own home. This woman was Mrs. Ida C. Davison, and the home she was murdered inside of was The Davison Home. The Davison family are pioneers in Texas City, Tx., and their family quite literally helped to found our wonderful city.
Although The Davison Home is one of the most well-known structures in all of Texas City, Tx., not many people know about the brutal murder that took place there so many decades ago.
