I almost put this book down....almost. The beginning was slow BUT once the steaminess, mystery and action started it was most definitely a page turner for me. All the characters were great. The relationships or maybe a future relationship happening were awesome. The story itself was deep, well thought out. The author did an excellent drop telling this story. Angus the main character for this story can be described with many words. Many sides to him. Sometimes I want to strangle his character, sometimes kiss him, sometimes give him a bear hug. The ending blew me away!! Did not expect it. What a twist! Who would have thought.... I absolutely loved this story!!!!! I love getting into a story where you feel you are right there with the characters. Nari was also another great character. I can't decide who was my favorite character of all the characters in this story. Again, amazing story!!

Angus & Zari's story. Throughout the series Angus has been chasing serial killer Lassiter & killing him, or did he. There's either a copycat at work or Lassiter really isn't dead. The whole team is being threatened and then disbanded. Zari is still fighting her attraction to Angus & trying to handle working with her ex & biological father. Someone is copycat killing people who look like the team so they work together to catch a killer & try not to end of dead. Roscoe is still up to his drinking & shoe fetish & Wolfe, Raider, & Jethro are pulling out all stops to keep everyone safe
