A Book of True Grit, Perseverance & Overcoming Adversity to the Max!

This was a real page turner, with lots of courtroom drama, and a true "quest for justice" read, against all inconceivable odds whereby the author shares with the reader, in exemplary fashion, the details of his criminal plight and after being wrongfully convicted and subsequently sentenced to 35-years without the benefit of parole, leaves the reader dumbfounded. However, the twist in this "fictionalized personal memoir" tale is astonishing. Against all odds Silva manages to gain a command of the legal system, and after spending nearly ten years in Federal Prison, under the harshest conditions imaginable, he's able to overturn his adversity and is set free. This book should be required reading for anyone who believes that our criminal justice system works the way it was intended to.
