It's a great read, but should have a dv trigger warning

As a survivor of DV that almost cost me my life three times, there's one or two chapters that were pretty hard for me to read. I'm glad I pushed through them though, because the ending of this book is everything someone like me can dream of.
On the brighter side of this review: the website for Motel Styx being legit absolutely amused me to no end! It's a very nice touch. Kudos to whoever thought of it, it's pretty ingenuous actually.
This book will take you through all the emotions. Disgust unless you're desensitized, anger at pretty much everything that goes on and there's a LOT that goes on. A touch of sorrow, and even pity.
This book has pretty deep undertones, it's absolutely worth the read though in my opinion.
I give this book 5 of 5 Paws.
