Great book - If your teacher is good...

This operations text is quite good, but can be confusing without proper guidance and through your classroom instructor. Fortunately, I was able to take Professor Finch's class first hand, and while reading the text before lectures was quite confusing at times, bringing it together in the classroom was much more insightful. Greatly appreciated were the hands on exercises available online with specific instructions that not only help to explain the concepts but let you change different variables to see what happens in each situation so that the reader fully understands the whole concept instead of just one specific example. I would highly recommend this text!
