Jim Fielder tells the horrifying true story of David Parker Ray, a serial torture-slayer who police believe may have slain over 60 victims while making 'snuff' films. Transcripts of audio and videotapes are featured, as well as over 16 pages of shocking photos.
I'm stunned at the reviewers who said this book was boring or they almost slept through it. The book itself was well written so I'm not rating the book on they terrible story inside as I think a few have. I thought the book was well written, but I personally had nightmares for weeks after thinking about what these women must have gone through and I really couldn't even imagine and didn't want to. I tossed the book in the garbage after reading it, I couldn't even have it in the house, it just is so disturbing and reeks of evil.
WOW

I to heard of the book from the Montel Williams show and all I can say is WOW. The book was extremely well written. I was very interested in the trial part of the book. I didn't think it would turn out how it did. It's hard to imagine something like that actually happening in real life, but this is proof that it does happen.
Great

I thought this was a very good book, the author told just enough about the torture to keep it interesting and not make me have nightmares. I read true crime all the time and this was one of the worst cases I've read about and I was able to finish pretty quickly.
Shocking
