My favorite history series

If I was stuck on a deserted island this is the series I would want with me for history. Each book includes a timeline, descriptions of famous people, events, artifacts, etc. as well as hands-on projects. My kids like that they use photographs of the artifacts instead of just drawings. We have used every book in the series and some are better than others. This is one of the good ones!
