STRANGE WEST is the debut magazine devoted to the weirdest of the Wild West! This digest-sized zine is a throwback to the days of tall tales and far-out frontier lore. In this issue we explore the legend and lore of ghost steers, including New Mexico's Old Ruidoso, the Texas M U R D E R steer, and the real-life story that inspired the hit song "Ghost Riders in the Sky". Then, we head up north to New York City, where historian William Mills unearths some rather interesting articles on Billy the Kid's "past" in the Big Apple. And for something truly strange, we'll also look back on a curious court hearing from Mora, New Mexico, where a man was accused of turning into a frog and attacking his wife!
