When Jesus was asked the bottom-line question, What is the greatest commandment? He told His listeners that every commandment of the law and the prophets is fulfilled through one transcending principle -- a right relationship with God, with others, and with oneself. All of life both now and forever is shaped by our understanding of and compliance with the greatest of all commandments: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind; and love your neighbor as much as you love yourself.
I'm attending bible college and this was the text book for my relational theology class. My teacher loves the authors simplistic style that still gets the point very plainly across. He writes similar to Max Lucado so if you like him i would reccommed this guy. Robert fisher, however, does lay down a little more theological background for you but not to worry--you won't get lost in his terms. even in this he keep s it simple. You might have a bit of a time getting this book however since it has been out of print for a while so i might suggest a library if you cannot find a seller. all in i would suggest that anyone struggling or considering relationships should take a look at this book.
