What an awesome weekend read! I read this a few years ago, and I re-read it on a vacation weekend. I loved it even more. If you love suspense and murder, you will like it. I liked it because it was Houston, Texas based and hearing the familiar streets and places made me feel at home I felt as if I was working within the homicide department collecting all the evidence! We love you Patsy, we want more!

Step aside Mary Higgins Clark. Ms. Burk's book will have you looking under the bed before you go to bed at night. Pick it up and start reading and you won't want to put it down until you reach the end. Short chapters make you think, "I'll read just one more." And before you know it, you've read it all.

I found this book to be a quick and very easy read. Patsy Burk's unusual twists and turns kept me intrigued from page one. Take it with you on your next vacation and you will find it very enjoyable, but don't read it when you are home alone.
