A great read that you will remember

He has created an alternative reality that rings frighteningly true, which he has combined with a knowledgeable representation of the peoples of Central and South America. Alexander's eye for detail and his ability to create a fast moving plot will pull you deeply and quickly far into the jungle and to other places you never dreamed of. When you close the book after the last page, you will find yourself wondering what is more true: what you thought you knew about the world - or what you have read in THE SABASTIAN CANE CRONICLES. That is the sign of a classic!
This book should be a movie.

I am an avid reader and a stickler for detail. This author did an outstanding job on research and accuracy. The plot structure is a ranging arch which keeps one step ahead of the readers immagination. It is no doubt the most entertaining book I have ever read. I could not put it down. If I were to place this book in a genera, I could not. It has something for everyone. It easily compares to the Lord of the Rings, Stranger In A Strange Land, and even Star Wars with Indian Jones tossed in the mix. This novel is the beginning of a legend which begins with the ancient Maya and takes you to the far reaches of the universe. I hope to read more by this outstanding author.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book about the exploits of Sabastian Cane. The author takes his readers on an action-packed thrill ride and barely gives you time to catch your breath from episode to episode. The characters are well-developed, the locations are spectacular, and the plot has enough twists and turns in it to keep you on the edge of your seat. This has all of the elements of being a major Hollywood blockbuster!
