fabulous emergent to begnner reading book

I purchased this book as part of a series for emergent to beginning readeras. I am a preschool teacher and I provide guided reading instruction to my students. I was looking for something to step up from the emergret reading predictable text books and the Bob books (basic phonics) books. The children love these books, which require students to combine emergent and beginning reading skills. The stories are exciting and interesting with great pictures. Another favorite of my students is Hot Dog.
